My poor little baby!
Averie had her first ear infection today. Both ears. While at the ER (its Memorial day so nothing is open) she turned to me and asked if she was the saddest thing I have ever seen in all my life, and yes she was. Her palms pressed so tightly against her ears and the tears rolling down her cheeks totally broke my heart. I am a sucker for my kid.

oh my god, she asked you that? i would have started crying.
I almost did. I really had to work hard to hold it together.
